By far one of the nicest Rieslings we have had in a long long time. This is a bottle that you could universally pair with a range of cooking and food. Right from the spicy South Asian starters to the flavorful, delicate ones, from the food with explosive aromas and flavors to the ones that are rich and deep. All they need is a nicely chilled glass of the Kabinett!
A personal note, don't serve at room temperature. Chill it in an ice bucket before serving.
Tasting notes and reviews
"Dried apple rind and Williams pears are a beautiful combination here. The acidity is wrapped up very purely and succinctly in the off-dry sweetness, and that creates a beautiful sense of tension and depth. Drink now." - 94/100, James Suckling, Dec 2019
"Lime, grapefruit, white peach and quince deliver an effusively fruity aromatic and palate impression, along with brightness and tartness unexpected in a 2018. Cooling mint and fennel add inner-mouth aromatic appeal, while chalky and stony notes serve for counterpoint on a vibrantly sustained finish." - 92/100, David Schildknecht, Vinous, Jun 2020
