About the wine & the Estate
Chateau Gazin is one of the rarest right bank property to have their 26 hectares of vineyards as a single parcel. Acquired by the current owners in 1918, the property has flourished since Nicolas de Bailliencourt from the family started working at the property in 1984. A little history of Gazin is now also deeply embeded in Petrus bottles after Petrus acquired a parcel of their vineyards in 1960s.
Tasting Notes & Reviews:
"Big, round, lively fruit. Packed with plump classic Pomerol fruit. Fully mature and bonny. A very good Gazin" 18/20, Jancis Robinson, May'08
